PIANOO Give Away - Pianoteq Stage, Standard oder Pro?

What Are the Differences Between the Three Pianoteq Versions?

Let’s start with what they have in common: Whether Pianoteq Stage, Standard, or PRO, all three versions share the same sound engine and provide access to all Modartt Pianoteq instrument packs and sound sets.

Instrument packs are included with the purchase, though the number varies depending on the version. You can choose from a wide selection of piano models, including Steinway & Sons, Bösendorfer, Shigeru Kawai SK-EX, Blüthner, Steingräber, and more.

All versions are fully compatible with macOS, Windows, Linux, and iOS. Even the mobile iOS app offers the same high-quality sound and feature set as the desktop versions.

Pianoteq also includes an extensive range of effects, with the ability to combine up to four effects at once.

The key differences between Pianoteq Stage, Standard, and PRO lie in their feature sets, which will help you decide which version best suits your needs.

Pianoteq Stage

Pianoteq Stage is the most streamlined and affordable version (approx. $140). It includes two instrument packs, but lacks the advanced voicing options available in the other editions. This makes it ideal for those who primarily want to play high-quality piano presets without delving into detailed sound customization.

Pianoteq Standard

If you’re looking for more control over your piano sound, the Standard version is worth considering. For around $270, it offers instrument morphing and layering, as well as detailed voicing options. You can shape the piano models to your liking, with note-by-note editing that lets you adjust volume, tuning, and attack envelope. Virtual miking is also included, allowing you to manipulate the spatial sound characteristics of the pianos. With your license, you can choose three instrument packs.

Pianoteq PRO

The PRO version offers the full range of Pianoteq’s features. It includes complete note-by-note editing, allowing precise control over modeling parameters to shape the harmonic response and overall sound behavior. Additionally, it supports multiple sample rates up to 192 kHz. With the PRO version, you get access to four instrument packs.
