Janis is a freelance musician, composer, sound designer, sound engineer and author. At PIANOO.de he is an expert in piano VSTs, sound libraries and music software. As the son of a piano teacher, Janis started playing the piano at an early age. Jazz music has accompanied him since his early days, but his interest in electronic music quickly grew when he got his first computer. Whether trance, dubstep or drum 'n' bass, his passion for synthesizers and digital effects was ignited. During his studies at the SAE Bochum, Janis was not only able to expand his sound engineering skills, but also immerse himself in the world of film, advertising and video game music.
