Modartt

Modartt is a French developer of virtual instruments. Founded in Toulouse in 2006, the company is best known for Pianoteq, a software piano that simulates the acoustic and mechanical properties of grand and upright pianos using physical modeling.

Unlike conventional sample-based instruments, Pianoteq generates sound in real time. The result is a highly authentic playing experience with finely nuanced tonal and dynamic response.
