Fazioli

The Italian manufacturer Fazioli is renowned for its high-quality concert grand pianos. These handcrafted instruments are available in six models, ranging from 156 to 308 cm in length. The latter is the longest concert grand piano in the world, known as the F308. Fazioli grand pianos are increasingly favored by prominent pianists such as Herbie Hancock and Angela Hewitt.

Among the special features of Fazioli grand pianos are a tunable duplex scale and an additional fourth pedal. This fourth pedal facilitates playing pianissimo by bringing the hammers closer to the strings while at rest, without the need to shift the mechanism as in the traditional una corda function. As a result, pianists can achieve quieter dynamics without the tonal changes typically associated with una corda pedaling.
