GEWA is a musical instrument manufacturer based in Adorf, Germany. Founded in 1925 by Georg Walther, the company relocated to Bavaria in the 1950s. After the fall of the Berlin Wall in 1989, GEWA moved its headquarters back to the Vogtland region. Today, the company manufactures and distributes a wide range of musical instruments. While string and plucked instruments have traditionally been GEWA’s main focus, GEWA has also produced digital pianos in Adorf for several years.
